    I could use it box!

I am starting a "I could use it box". I have a box of reloading goodies that needs a good home. It's in a large flat rate box. Must stay in a large flat rate box. Good for where ever a USPS Flat rate box will go. Take what you can use and replace it with something that you don't need any more and you pay the shipping to the next person on that posts "I could use it". You must list what is in the box, so the next person knows what is in there. Keep the box full and past it along to the next person.

Wait till the receiver get the box and post what he/she has taken and what he/she replaced the items with.

Please fill the box with some items of value. Don't want this to become a box of junk. Make sure you list what you take from the box and what you replace it with.

    Thanks,

    Adam

    In the box:
    RCBS 38-148-WC with handles
    RCBS .38/.357 Dies
    RCBS Partner Press
    RCBS Kinetic Bullet Puller
    RCBS 2 Priming tubes.
Lee .358 148 DC with handles
    Lee Universal Decapping Die
Lee Ram Prime small and large.
Lee .452 Bullet Lubricating & Resizing Kit
    Lyman 55 Powder measure
    Lyman 7/8"x14 Adapter
    Frankfort Arsenal Kinetic Bullet Puller
    Unknown Shell holders 5, 6, 12
    Ideal 358425 DC mould
Ideal 451148 SC Round Ball mould
    Bore Snake 12ga.

That is a good looking box. I appreciate your effort and generousity, hopefully by requiring people to list what they kept and what they added it’ll take longer than the past boxes to either fill with low demand items or just disappear entirely.

I do appreciate the effort. I have been on the receiving end of this sites generosity and I have been on the supply end. This is all part of what makes this site and this community so unique. I can tell ya now, I will be adding some BP moulds and some other interesting stuff, not sure what yet. Might even throw in a pound or 2 of tin for someone who needs to sweeten some alloy or some unique cast checked bullets for 357's.

    Thanks Matt

Can you clarify the pecking order? I believe the intent is once the box has been spoken for and accepted by the current owner any other requests are void until the box gets re-posted with what is in it and the next request thereafter should be the next recipient.

That is right. Wait till the receiver get the box and post what he/she has taken and what he/she replaced the items with.

The only way this will work without hurting feelings/crashing and burning is if the "value of the box/items in the box" remains the same.

1911sw45 is starting what could be a great thing if no one gets greedy.

Please take only what you really need, don't destroy what 1911sw45 has so graciously started.

Sounds like a great idea. Good luck and I hope all honor the original intent of this gesture.

Word of CAUTION, having been one of the members who previously created BOXES to get passed around..........

Robert (No1), who owns the forum told me in a phone call that no more "BOXES" would be allowed. Not sure how this box of yours will be received. I suggest you pass it by him first, before proceeding.

We have approved this as long as folks follow the clear directions he has given. This is not a promote my name box like some were. I am monitoring this.

    Adam,
WOW, this is a very generous box!
    The membership thanks you.

For now, I will withhold my opinion of these types of boxes as maybe this is the one that will be successful? But, surely the large amount of generous items will make it last longer then usual.
    I wish all the best.

The context of that phone conversation was no more boxes created/sponsored by you because you told a member who refused to forward or return a box which only contained junk (verified by another known member) he would "suffer" if he did not do as you said because you had "The Owner of Cast Boolits in your pocket". I caution you not to make a big deal of this as I have all the messages between that member and me, the member who verified the contents of the box and me as well as you and me to back up my statement.

Ok, I am sorry that I started something I should not have. I created this "I could use it" box as a way to say thanks to all the members of this great and generous site. I do no seek any type of recognition for this box. I just wanted people to only take what they can use and put back items of value. Don't have to match the value of the item taken. Just no junk. This is an honor system. Hopefully the person that receives the box of items will honor the original request, they will only be hurting them self. The box will die. I believe the members of this site are honorable people. As you can see I am not that great at writing and trying to convey my thoughts. If any one has a problem contact me about it.

    Thank you,

    Adam
