I would be interested in playing a part in the "wonder box". It would leave with more than I took out. I love stuff like this.

Birch, technically you have to wait for the one who has the box to post that it is ready to travel again. But with the slow pace it has been moving lately you have a real good chance of being next in line.

If it were up to me you'd be next. But you need to keep watch for the "whose next" post and toss your claim then.

Unless of course the op makes an early call. Lol

"The box" arrived today after work. It was really fun unpacking all that stuff.......kinda like Christmas for big kids. i have to admit that it is very hard to place a value on what has true worth and what is something that MIGHT be nice to have. For instance, there is a really pretty RCBS beam scale that sure would be pretty sitting on my workbench. .......but, my old pacific has served me well for about 6 years. Don't need that pretty new scale!!

So far, I am going to put dibs on the 30 round mag and the Garand cleaning kit. That kit is cool mostly because of the military paper tube that contains it.....looks GI issued. I will do some thinking tonight and figure out what I am putting in. I think there will be some real goodies for the next feller (or gal) that gets the box from me. Thanks everyone. It is a cool idea and a terrific experiment to test the human spirit and condition.

I will post what I claim, what I put in, and when it is ready to ship.

I don't think it was a question of him not doing the right thing, just needed an administrative way to do it.
