What kind of toilet is this?!

Wife had to go to the walk in ER today... very bad sciatica. While there I went to the bathroom... no toilet seat! WTH kind of toilet is that? Hope it’s not a new trend coming from Californica. Next thing you know it’ll be just a hole in the floor like some other parts of the world.

I think the new self-sanitizing bathrooms have toilets with no lid/seat

its new trend and the bowl is size of old seat. but if they didnt run hot water to it is cold. most are set up for hot water and you flush 1 or 2 times and the rim is warm.
i dont see the savings as if used riight takes about 3 times the water
the tank has a heater, BUT one flush and the warm water is gone ,then if it was plumbed to cold water takes 45 min to heat.
    bring a seat.

You ever ride a Huver board...with your butt? Lol

I'm thinking your going to wash your lower unit when it's all set and done.

I would assume that tin hanging on the wall has paper seats in it.

That thing is big enough to ride backwards and hold on for the ride.

They have toilets in Yellowstone for Asians as many don't sit but put their feet on the seat and squat down. They won't handle the weight and the seat breaks.

Hickory, that one looks more useful than the one being discussed! I'd rather have the pole than that thing, solution looking for a problem..

Standard bowl. Elongated bowls take special oval grills.

I acquired a very thick book on Sharia law as part of my 'getting to know the enemy'. I has quite a bit on how to use the toilet, which foot you use to step into the room, which foot to step out. It seems that everyone must pee while squatting in case they get splashed with urine which would apparently mean a lot of ritual prayers and cleansing rituals. Even down to which hand is used to wipe, and apparently it is taken as literal by some that you use the hand. It could fair put you off eating curry.

Cold toilet seat subject made a memory come to me. It was the year 1949 in Wichita Falls just after an ice storm. We were in the process of building our house and the plumbing was not ready as yet. To start with we had an outhouse with new moon cut in the door as well. The sense of urgency was present as I opened the door and low and behold there was three inches of clear ice on the seat. Really, it didn't seem all that cold after the numbness set in. Fast in and faster out. Sixteen years old then.

Wiping with the left hand is the norm in that part of the world, and the reason that Muslims only eat with their right hand. That's also the reason why their toilets have a water hose with a spray head mounted to it on the outside.

A few months ago we had to take our infant to the local ER. Their toilet was leaking and they didn't seem to care so I left them a little note...
