The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Nice. Great looking and I bet the quality of production is up there too.

Nice looking artwork. Unfortunately, the only thing I can draw are flies.

If it can be done on a lathe or milling machine or by following a pattern I am Ok but scrimshaw is way beyond me. I tried a rabbit on a knife handle one time... One fellow looked at it and said, "why does that coyote have such long ears", another guy said,"It's not a coyote it's a beaver and he messed up the tail". I no longer do that stuff. You done good!

Top notch as usual Ric. Makes me miss smoking my pipe.

That is some left over maple from a stock blank.

Smokes okay, but will be better when it builds more cake.

Awesome work! I have a simple question, How do you get the curved hole in the pipe?

Cut the wood in half, and carve it in. Probably not the best way, but I don't have a bit long enough to drill it.
