Wouldn’t it be easier to modify either a .308 or 7.62x54R to fit verses looking for the golden egg laying goose??

The lee loader is a neck sizer only. So the 7.62x54r should work ,only the leingth needs to be I thank shortened. Also don’t know if the lee loader in 7.62x54r is set up for 308 or .312 bullets. If it’s set up for .308 bullets no problem . I thank my lee dies in 7.62 x39 full leingth has a 308 and a 312 expander . The 7.62x54r I thank is .308 and I had to buy a 303 Brit expander for it. If the 7.5 Swiss is longer than the 308 neck sizer die you could make a extinsion out of round stock and drill out the center to leingthen the die

Neck sizing portion only needs to match the size of outer diameter of 7.5x55. Either find a match or possibly enlarge one a bit. If it’s a little longer or shorter doesn’t really matter much. Just tap in more or less as needed.

I’ll look up neck sizes and see what the books say. Body wise it’s close to 7.62x54R, little bigger than 30-06/.308.

Found Sierra #3 book. Outside neck diameter of 7.5x55 matches 7.62x54R. Both .335”. Get yourself a Ruskie Lee Loader!
