Removing a gas check from a cartridge

Ok. I had a brain fart and reloaded some cast bullets w/o the correct powder charge. I removed the projectile but the powder and gas check I can't remove. Is it safe to just 'shoot the gas check out'? It is a 150 grain boolet with 36 grains of IMR 3031. Do I need to reseat the projectile? I tried my kinetic puller but it won't budge.

Needle nose pliers, just reach in and grab them and pull. It worked for me.

Press something like a small screwdriver onto one side of the gas check and it will most likely tilt. Then, as said, grab the edge with a pair of needle nosed pliers. Don't ask me how I know.

Thank you! I pressed a small screwdriver to turn the GC on it's side, removed the powder and then used the pliers to remove the GC. Thank you for your suggestions!
