    ID this mold will ya...

Found this Wad Cutter mold the other day. Plenty of lube grooves. Pretty sure it is not a shoulder fired weapon.

    any ideas?

Saw a pistol chambered for that the other day. Guy said he had to do a little throating for it to grab the muzzle brake properly.

Looks like a project for someone's falling block collection. I wonder if it is illegal to build a 5" bore rifle.

With those grooves it is definitely a tumble lube design.

Looks like the Lee Tumble lube soup can. Is it hollow point or base?

The original Soup Can. That's where Richard Lee came up with the idea. Gp

    And sometimes my humor is

Lori, my wife, is a second grade teacher. Her humor tends to be like her students......

I'll tell her something and she will look at me rather quizzically.....

    OK--this will leave a mark.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

How it must be, day to day, living with a woman that NEVER LEAVES THE 2nd GRADE. I bet she would be thrilled if you made her a neckless out of Ziti noodles. Try that on Date Night and get back to us on how it went...

Every time I look at that can, or any can, it reminds me to go pour some more wad cutters. Shooting stabilized "garbage cans" down range is cerebral and just plain pleasing. I bet they would also "sting a mite" when going through a person.

Looks like a modern day canister load for a 10 pound Parrot Rifle to me . . . put a alb load of cannon grade powder behind that and watch the beans fly!

Tom, prepare yourself. It is going to be "interesting" when she reaches the fourth grade. In many States, a gal can get married then...

Well there ya go ! Wonder if old 3 gr of Bullseye load would work good for close in engagements of course like dealing with Somali pirates .
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
