At the request of powder coat cast shooting customers I designed a new 30 caliber gas check...
30T cal Checkmaker™ Gas Check Forming Dies
Breaking new ground... these dies produce a gas check .125" tall with Amerimax .014" metal. I see no reason why this new gas check wouldn't perform like gangbusters with any 30 cal mold. Can't wait to try in with my 30 ca spitzer molds and my 30-06's.
This is a bottle cap edge design due to the height of the checks and the Checkmaker™. Bottle capping is far from a negative feature, and has been shown if anything to improve accuracy with much testing from the best here at CB.
Not many cast shooters realize cast spitzers are great performers and make nice accurate shooting boolits.
