Place to buy 38-70 or 38-56 dies?

I am not all that familiar with this forum. Is this where I ask if anyone is willing to sell a set of 38-70 dies? I could perhaps use a set of 38-56 dies and just neck size. Lee quit making these some time back. I am restoring an 1886 in 38-70 and would like to load up about 20 rounds to check the beast out. Strange case. Very tapered and hardly any shoulder. I have no idea why whoever designed it that way.

If CH4D makes them that is the direction I would go.

BACO Controls markets and sells components for industrial automation.

How does that help the OP?

I have searched for several older die sets and they seem to vanish when you need them. I concur with the 38-56 route. close enough to get the job done. PM sent

You can't ask to buy outside of Swappin' & Sellin', but you need at least 30 days on the forum, and 30 meaningful posts (not "me, too", etc.) to be able to post there. Offers to sell outside of S&S also aren't allowed. If someone wants to PM you with an offer, then that's fine, but not in the open forum.

    Hope this helps.

Check CH4D's website and see if it's listed. If not make a chamber cast and Dave will make you a set of dies. If it is listed either they have it in stock or it is one that they have the plans for and can make it on demand.
