    Rossi Lever on way!

As noted in other posts here, I've been trying to obtain a new Rossi M92 Lever in 38/357 for a while. I have open request from one of my distributors for one and I search about every week or two on the other couple of sites. (Along with looking thru email list of new arrivals)

Yesterday, I had a bit of time while running some parts and I did quick search on the sites. Lo and behold a M92, stainless steel 20" in 38/357 popped up. ONE. No other 92s, in any caliber. Quickly put in cart and did search on site that I promised to buy from. Nope, none nada. Went back and looked and gun was still in the cart. Pressed buy. And got Email this morning it's on way... whoosh eeeeh.

I would love one of those in .38-357.
I have one in .44 mag and love it. Hope it’s a good shooter for you.

Got one about 18 months ago. Love it but you might have to work on the loading gate. I put a spring kit and dropped the trigger pull to around 1#.

Agree, that was my first choice, but when this one showed, I jumped. I might grab one if one shows up....

I got one of mine directly from Nate Kiowa Jones aka Steve Young of Steve's Gunz
The other one was off gun broker around $480 as I recall. It was worked over by Jim Bowie of the Cowboys and Indians store.
    Both run real good.

Fun rifles. Usually need some tweaking but nothing the Nate Kiowa Jones video can't help us with.... My next one, if I choose it over a Henry Big Boy Steel, is gonna be in 45 Colt.

My 20” blued 38/357 feeds wad cutters it feeds anything with 38 all brass. The 357 brass feeds fine too but you can definitely feel the clink clunk of chambering the 357 brass

My 38/357 gets fed about 99% of the time with the lee 358-125rf pc’ed in special brass over 3.5grn of bullseye and is decent out to 100 yards. I even killed a deer with that load in 2013 and the doe dropped like she was hit by lightning (headshot at 4 yards) I normally keep a 170 grn 357 over a heartily load of 2400 and some of those 38s in my pocket for “just in case” I get a opportunity to fill my freezer with something else

I'm a FFL holder, so I can buy at 'high' dealer cost as I don't really buy and sell. License is mainly so I can engrave guns that I hold overnight.
I don't know how much you guys know about gun sales, but margin on the average handgun is close to zero. Truly. Things like Glocks, M&Ps if I don't buy a half dozen or more at a time, I might could make $20 which is about what the average FFL charges for a transfer (at least around here). Revolvers, especially the out of the ordinary have at least a decent margin and rifles about the same.

The Gunbroker initial price the other day of $599 on these guns (guess the dealer found a couple about the same time as me) is just about full retail. And I'd expect you could buy for that locally in a bit.
I wouldn't go higher than his initial price. These things ARE coming. Mine (in my hand last night) IS a 2018 out of the new factory. "CBC" is the new factory in Brazil making them. It feels good in the hand, fed a 38 and a 357 dummy I had on hand for my reloading. 357 was a kind of double clutch to load. I didn't have it crimped much so that might be problem. I'll be trying some for real soon.

My Distributor Does have a couple left, but no other sizes or finishes at this time.
PM me if you want to discuss privately further.

    I've had a couple of .357s and a 44-40. I miss the 44-40.

FWIW, I think pretty good fit and finish. slight change in color on forearm vs stock, but nothing drastic like I've seen on some Ruger guns. (10-22s are way crappy btw)
I'll let you know how it shoots soon.

MSRP is $663. You can get cheaper. How much depends on supply. The four my distributor put on stock today were gone by 10am.
