    Measuring Hi-Tek powder by volume?

I have been having great results with three thin coats of hi-tek coating. Now it’s time to mix up some more. Instructions say 20g (grams) of powder to 100ml of acetone. Problem is the only accurate scale I own is my reloading scale and that fine powder gets absolutely everywhere. I was wondering if anyone knew of an accurate way to measure out hi tek powder by volume rather than weight? Or at least accurate enough to error on the side of a little thin rather than thick.

Measuring by volume is a bid NO-NO. different powders have different densities and even the same color from different lots may get compressed differently in handling.

I always go 10 and 50, I made a big powder tray out of a pop can and if you dump slowly with a spoon you won't make a mess.

Yes, the first batch I measured out 103 grains on my scale and mixed it with 33ml, great results, was just hoping for an easier way.

Zero the scales with a container. Fill the container away from the scales.

I use a $5 set of Digital Drug dealer scales from eBay.
Work fine... but....don't spill acetone on them... They die....Ask me how I know........

I have a stainless 1/4 cup measuring cup that I put on my digital scale and zero it I then add the powder by the table spoon trickling the last little bit to get up to my desired amount.

I have a second powder scale I picked up for cheap at a gun show. I leave it in the garage and only use it for measuring the HiTek powder.

Brown pharm. pill bottles are #5 so measure powder by weight, then add acetone. Zero the bottle on scale next time.
    Whatever!
