Oversized .25 Bore / Groove, Beretta 950 Pistol

I recently placed an order for barrel blanks in .25 ACP (.243 bore, .250 grooves). The vendor shipped blanks for the rifle configuration of .250 bore, .257 grooves. The machine shop completed the barrels and I didn't discover the error until I test-fired it. The first barrel used a 1:10 twist and the second barrel used a 1:14 twist. Each was equally inaccurate. Ultimately the manufacturer issued a refund.
I recently learned that the Ranch Dog bullet mold was once offered, dropping a .256 O.D. bullet. Do you think I could use lapping compound to enlarge the mold, hopefully to perhaps .257 or .258? It would be great if these barrels could be used. All feedback appreciated. Thanks.

I would contact Erik Ohlen at www.hollowpointmold.com and have the mold bored out.

The Hornady 60 gr .257 fp would look mean in the .25 acp.

Why not just powder coat the bullets? Then size them to what ever you wish.
