    G.I Mags on Auto-Ordnance TM1

    Are any of you using stock G.I. mags on an Auto-Ordnance TM1? If so, did you have to make any changes to the mags?

    If the gun mentioned won't work with GI mags then it's the gun's problem. Send it back.

    no they will not lock up, for info search at machinegunboards.com ,they have a lot of info on the thompsons
    it has something to do with the hole on the side of the mag

    No problem, It looks like I just need to file the top of the mag catch hole until it seats correctly.

    yep, you have to elongate the latch hole a bit.

    Or put a USGI mag catch in it. To open USGI mags up on a drill press in takes 20 seconds. It will take much longer to take the mag a part an clean the shavings out.
