I'm in Midland (Texas), it's plenty hot here. Just put some steaks on the grill and they are almost done. Didn't need any charcoal. (-:}
I had that here 2 weeks ago. No rain for months, and severe fire restrictions. The monsoons started last week, rain every day, and cool nights. Back to shooting in the deserts, although 4 wheel drive is a necessity.
Its Texas. What do you expect this time of year?
Pour ice water on a towel and hang it over your neck and stay out of the sun if you can. An alligator would be proud of the skin on the back of my neck.

I did. I had knee replacement surgery last week, and if I can't have any fun I don't want any of you Yahoo's or Miscreants to have any either. A cool front is in MO right now though, so maybe it will reach you guys. (Hopefully).b

Don't know the answer but that's why I live in New Hampshire.
MAYBE 10 days a year in the high 90's, the rest of the time in the high 80's tops.
Yeah....yeah....the winters are tough.....but there is no such thing as bad weather....just underdressed people.

107 in Burnet, TX right now. Burnet is about 40 miles n/w of Austin. Country side is lighting up, brush fires. But do you expect "it's Texas".

It's been hot here too, for Arkansas, with high humidity. 101 for a few days last week. Then we caught a few rains and the temp dropped and the humidity went up even more. The heats coming back now. When I was working I did the hard jobs early and the easy stuff in the afternoon. You get used to it but I guess you never really like it. Drink water, eat lightly and plan your work, if thats possible. Light colored clothing helps a little. Some days I would be soaking wet by 0700 and still wet at 1900. The next morning your clothes would have had time to dry out and would be incrusted in salt. Come on Fall, I know you're there!!!
Was 52F here this morning low 80's at it's peak. Not many hot days here but we've had several but never made it to above 90F but very humid.
It's been cool and windy today and raining for two hours. Wanna trade? I'll come smoke some Texas hogs!
This may be NORTH Carolina but we've had over 40 days above 90 F so far. Normally about 10-15 a year, and not linked together. Humidity has been 70% + most of the time. Wiping sweat and fanning with my hat, has become a regular pastime. Thank goodness I up graded the AC last year.
Information not shared. is wasted.
Well I can't say this in the winter but sure as heck can now. Maine's weather is picture perfect this time of the year! I wouldn't trade it for any other place this time of the year.

am44mag I like to tell people to look on the positive off these 100 and above days. It is so hot it actually drives the humidity lower here in East Texas so we don’t sweat as much.
This year in april we had 30s - 50's, we had less than a week of tyical spring 60's and 70's weather. And the last 3 weeks of may onward were July weather with temps in the high 80's to 90's and not cooling down at night, staying in the 60's to 70.
Certainly not normal.
But I think the OP got it wrong. I don't think anyone ticked off the man upstairs.
I think it was the guy downstairs that cranked up the heat.
It is just that someone put another log on the fire, because it been high temps here also in the past and now cool down now to about normal temps.
