    For thought and meditation

    Corinthians 9:6-7
"He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." Our giving is to be planned. We should not give because we feel we have to give. Nor should we resent that we need to give to please God. We should be glad that we can give to the Lord.

This verse is well known to us and has many different aspects to it . To be a cheerful giver would include our time , effort . caring , willingness , commitment , or many things according to the circumstances and situation . We are blessed there are so many ways to be a cheerful giver !

When guns are outlawed only criminals and the government will have them and at that time I will see very little difference in either!

"We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the law breaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is acoutable for his actions." Presdent Ronald Reagan
