    Alcan powders

Any collector interest in the old Alcan stuff? I'm about to finish off a keg of Alcan 120, just wondered if someone might want the empty can before I trash it.

Steel keg? It has collector value, put it in Saw & Sell, there's buyers.

This one is a card board keg with steel ends, pretty sturdy for cardboard. It has a sticker type label on it, but for the most part is white. Alcan 120 was apparently never a popular powder for anything, but I got about five pounds or so from my Dad's stuff and it was in good shape. Had a very small amount of pistol load data in some old manuals and figured out it burned close to Red Dot, so I used it in all kinds of things using Red Dot starting loads until now it's gone. Did better in some things than others, but I found it to be a pretty good powder.

If anybody wants it, just tell me where to send it. Dad also had a similar drum of Alcan 7 which I am using, but still have a long way to go. That one isn't in as good shape, but the powder works fine. Been shooting it in .357 loads.
