LBT made a two-cavity mold for me with one cavity cut without a lube groove. It was intended for sabot use. As it turned out, both the grooved and un-grooved bullets shot well in sabots, but only the grooved bullet was useful in 45-70 cartridges.

"Mould" is often considered a British spelling, while "mold" is American. Both spellings are used so often and interchangeably that the distinction is lost.

Thanks folks, you have provided enough sources that now I'm scratching my head trying to decide on which. I want a two cavity mould/mold for 30-30 and 357 to go in my "kit" with the 310s.

I have 2 Accurate Moulds with 2 different bullets in each mold. All are .375 for two different cartridges.

One is a 4-cavity split evenly at 2:2.
The other is a 5 cavity with a 3:2 split between the types.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Saved money vs buying 2 molds and the cost of shipping was lower to me in Australia.

But i wish i didn't. Over time I have tended to only use one of the bullets from each mold so the other cavities go unused.

    This.
I have a 4-cav NOE, 2 gas checked, 2 plain base. I never need both boolits at the same time.
If given the chance, I would not do it again.
