Yep, 5.0 bullseye
l have a friend who shot with the South West Pistol League in the early to mid '70s. He said the favored load then was the H&G #68 over 4.3g of Bullseye. When IPSC came along and power factors were introduced it was upped to 5g.

If your friend was shooting in an NRA Bullseye match/matches they have no power factor to be concerned with. The various shooting games like IPSC, IDPA and the like does.
Again I mean no harm or distress to anyone reading my answer. I am just making a statement. No trolling, baiting or harm is meant in anyway, shape or form.
Well, the pushfeed issue seems to be under control now.
I have tried all of the tests from 4.0 to 6.0. Even the 4.0 cycled and locked open after the last round. I’m going to work on 4.2 to 5.0 for a bit and see if I can find a sweet spot in there. This arm will, almost exclusively, be for 10-25 yd paper and steel.
Thank You for your insights.

5.5gr. of Unique, or 4.5gr. of Red Dot: either works very well and is very accurate. They both let the air out of things real fast too. Brodie
I used 3.7 gr Bullseye for shooting plate matches, it may require a spring change.
