I have for sale a David Corbin made Rimfire jacket making kit for sale. The kit comes complete as shown (less micrometer) with a few extras. It includes:
Rimfire Derim die with proper punch (shown left)
Core Seat Die (Shown in middle) with proper punch
Point Form Die (Shown right) with proper punch
Extra point form die punch pin
Bag of already derimmed and annealed 22 LR "jackets"
Not shown and also included is:
3 OZ of swage lube (50-50 lanolin and Castor Oil)
10# of .185 wire
Bag of 22 cases to derim for jackets (I'll fill the box, but they will need fully cleaned and dried...pick up from our indoor range)
The bullet shown with the micrometer I made with this set and it works great. Corbin still makes this kit and can supply punches if needed in addition to replacement parts. With proper care, this kit will last a lifetime.
To start swaging bullets right away, you will need a core cutter (you can buy one here) and a sturdy, cast iron press. 22 bullets require not that much pressure, so most any press that is sturdy will work. I made what is shown on the classic Lee press.
This kit costs $800+ from Corbin or others. You can have this for $500 delivered with insurance. Paypal preferred, but USPS Money order fine as is personal check with time to clear.
