    Hollywood press parts

I need help from some serious hollywood press people. I recently won a
hollywood senior turret press and the seller shipped it in a *** cardboard box with all of the tooling still attached to the turret. The result is that both the shot measure and powder measure were snapped off and they aren't the normal but the ones with no clamp and the adjuster inside an protector that acts as a handle. How much are these measures worth I have never seen any for sale.

File a claim. You could also return the item duke to damage even if the seller states no returns. Then post pics so we may try to help you. Hollywood parts are hard to find and expensive when you do.

Those measures are the third generation, the last models made. They come up for sale every now and then. Depending upon the shape and completeness they tend to run $50-100 each.

You may want to check with Tracvision here on the forum. He is the current owner of Hollywood Reloading Tools and has many parts. He even has those third gen bodies at least, maybe more.

I would not tolerate this, I have an idea on what was spent on this press, I watched it. You purchased it in good faith that you would receive it as pictured. The seller is negligent, he picked it from an estate sale and looked up Hollywood reloading press and saw dollar signs. I always ask prior to a bid or purchase if the seller can disassemble the press for shipping. I hope This works out for you. I love all my Hollywood press’. It’s a shame that a press as fine as yours came damaged.

What really sux is that negligent shipment destroyed nearly irreplaceable equipment.

I really didn't think anyone would have shipped that heavy an item without taking the loose parts off and packing them separately. LESSON LEARNED!

Completely irreplaceable from my point of view. It means there is one less of each and only so many existed to start with!
