In my first attempt to make my own bismuth shot, I got a lot that is smaller than i wanted. It is very good looking shot, better than you can buy from rotometals. It is made from an alloy of 94% Bismuth and 6% tin, which works well, and does not break up. After sorting size with a mesh screen, I ran it in a rock tumbler to make it round and smooth. Sizes vary, but seem to average about .095" which is a #7 1/2. There is plenty of #8 and #7 mixed in. I have two 10# bottles, and one at 9 pounds 10 ounces. I am asking $130 for the 10# bottles, and $125 for the 9.625#. Shipping is medium flat rate $13.65, and I think I can get 2 bottles in the box.
I do not plan on making any more of this size, but will hopefully have some larger #5 for sale soon.
