ok dumb question. Would the NLG with gas check, work like boat tail, without actualy putting a GC on it? most plain base give me a little burr when I drop them, probably due to my range lead mix. I'll switch to lino or close to it. plan on powder coating, but would like to eliminate the step and expense of GC'ing.

The picture on the front didn't particularly say that it was the GC with grooves, but its implied.

I am by no means an expert in anything and I think lube grooved boolit seems to obturate better and are less finicky to find a good load.

It could serve as a rebated type boat tail.

I've changed my mind on the second mold, 8-cav aluminum mold (#5 on the list, vfluckey at midco dot net)

I want to change it from NLG-GS to a lube groove-PB (still 8-cav AL)

and add DHL shipping to my order.

    thanks!

I'm debating getting a 2nd identical set of mold/handles, hoping our Honcho gives us a day's notice or two to make our silly minds up just before going into launching mode

If you know you are going for volume...get 2. You can get 223 brass by the bucketfull and have at it.

Done. Did you change so it sits in the case better while loading or do you plan on GCing the boolits?

I plan to GC the boolits. From what I've been reading I will need to move them faster to cycle an AR. Input appreciated!
