225 is not possible. Boolit was built to chamber specs and to reduce diameter reduces nose diameter.

This is also a small cherry and for consistency sake 227 suits most users whether casting and sizing to 225 or shooting as cast in some worn barrels.

I see a lot of people have ordered a gas check mold. Does this bullet NEED a gas check?

Water dropped I would say no. The smaller the boolit the "harder" they react to pressure. I'm willing to bet that theres no discernable difference between a checked or unchecked boolit water dropped COWW with Win 748 full power loads.

I guess I'd like to change mine to non GC then, if PPing them will let me shoot them at nice velocities - so,

    from ".227-6 Cavity-GC-NLG" to ".227-6 Cavity-PB-NLG" (With Handles)

    This should be interesting

Assuming this is still open...………….I'd like an 8 cavity AL PB mold. I'd also like to request some guidance on a sizing die. I will be loading for various generic AR-15's and possibly for a 22-250. p james 32 at live dot com. Zip code 87401..Thanks Paul

The Lee 225 sizer will serve all of your needs. You might find a member her to open it up for you but I don’t think you’ll need it.
