I assume you mean 65 gr. with lube groove and 69 gr. with no lube groove?.... 4 gr. difference for a GC seems excessive....

This is a bore out of the GC to make the PB. Im sure 3-4 grains is a fair estimate of additional weight.

Big surprise here, 8 cavity gas check NLG
middle earth sales and service at gmail dot com
    You got this up fast
Will be interested to see if the 1 in 9 barrel can deal with this right on the edge
I suppose if it is not stabalized it might prove to be very effective against Goblins

    From @DFK

"The 75gr NATO from Mihec drops around 69-70gr with my range scrap alloy. . The lube groves are small if you axe them and keep the gas check (I'd keep the gas check) you'll maybe add 2 grains to it. Which is more than acceptable weight wise. The 75gr NATO is not much longer than the 65gr version."

So it should work well as the buy is for the 65 grain version which comes in at 75 grains in the NLG in this buy for Hi Tek or PC. Same length as the 65 grain. You could just get the lube groove version in this buy and you will be Golden, either way. It is all about length, not weight. Length is the same. So if you use Hi Tek or PC the NLG is what you want. A proven performer. I cannot wait to get this mold. Well proven.

Hmmm, OK; I haven't used brass molds yet (LOTS of 1- and 2-cavity iron ones and some Al) - Have to figure out which to grab, hmmm

I shot a inch and an eighth group at 100Y sitting in 45 2.1's yard with my 1-9 twist AR with this bullet over WC844 at a chrono'd 2450 fps before the first GB. I've not messed with it much since then but I'm pretty sure it would shoot better than that with even cursory load testing,,,,,

    BUY IT.

Bought this mold used from a member, looks like it was never used. I heat cycled it last nite after reading this thread. Cast a few and it is fantastic. Boolits drop easily when mold is opened, rarely needing persuasion to fall from mold. Boolits dropping around 62 grs. , should be about 65 with gc & lube.
