    beeswax

jut a note out to yall,
i used to cuirbolli leather in beeswax a LOT, basically ran a 5 gal double boiler setup for both leather armor and costrels, the point of this?
Ive noticed beeswax is a major component for some recipes and thought Id share my professional experiences with one supplier
    Dadant
they have, hands down, the best **** beeswax on the market. period. Fact.
my work is done here, carry on.

To save some members a lot of time trying to find this, I will say that once you find Dadant Beekeeping, you will then have to scroll down to page 133 of 144 pages of their catalog to find that white or yellow refined bees wax is 8.45 a pound, plus shipping. I do not have a current price on Randy Rat, one of our list member suppliers.

All supplier info is welcome, but many like to deal with Vendor-Sponsors here...

Besides, I have absolutely no idea what "leather armor and costrels" are...

Seen claims that the price of beewax is going sky high due to the veroa mite..Also ,various online brands tested up to 90% paraffin wax .........as do Chinese sourced waxes.

I'm really not sure how any beeswax can be any better than Randyrat's ? because his beeswax is the best of any I've ever seen or smelled or melted.

That would explain why my last batch of lube wasn't the same. I bought some "beeswax" at a craft store near me and made up some Emmerts. It worked ok but didn't smell the same and didn't stick as well.
