    Perspective...

    1st pic looks like ordinary 30 caliber bullets.
    Next picture 44 magnum next to dummy round and bullet.the weight of the 50 bmg bullet with gas check.Final loaded round with 65g of trailboss.

    What a cute little plinking round! Let's see . . . an overhead chain fall to load lead in to the pot to cast those . . . and a scoop shovel for a powder measure. LOL That is really quite the round! That really must be a lot of fu to cast up the boolits and to load them. Thanks for sharing and I hope you'll give a report on your range visit! Would love to see what you fire those in!

    I would think somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 fps with the 65gr load. I have been shooting closer to 75 gr in my gun and get 1600 fps and groups around 1.25"@100yds with that load. Its a pleasant "plinking" load

    What started the whole reloading for it thing was I lucked into a thousand cci primers for 50 bucks. Then got the mold fairly cheap.

    Rockrat don't tell my wife you have a 50 bmg she will want to shoot it , the bigger the boom the more she likes it
