Yep! The trays will hold lots more than the folded metal frame. I only use mine to separate brass by HS.
Information not shared. is wasted.
I’m a fan of the Maxwell House blue containers. The sides are square, so they fit week on the shelf. Easy to label, and they are strong. I’ve even started keeping cast and powder coated Bullets in them. That gets heavy, but they have held up just fine.
Yes, I know Walmart has some great optins, but I do like being able to re-use the containers. They also work well to clean brass with citric acid. Once you collect enough, they look nice also. I hate having 10 different container types on the shelf.
I'm a Happy Clinger.

I've used paper bags for cases - So I can write "Deprimed" "Tumbled" "Sized" "Primed" as I get to working them over, once powder's added I don't leave them in bags though :P
Zip lock bags & 50 cal. ammo cans here. I can label each bag & keep them in the ammo cans which are labeled. I've probably got over 50 cans that I've accumulated over the years.
For cast/coated/sized I put them in 1 qt (new) paint cans from HD. For empty brass I use the "Mainstays" brand containers from WallyWorld - they have 2 sizes and I also use the larger size for 12 & 20 ga wads for shotshells...
For unprocessed brass I tend us put the common ones in a kitty litter jug and then after my prep (tumble, inspecting, depriming, resizing and final sort) they go into one of the two sizes of Mainstay jugs depending on the caliber and how much of it I keep on hand. Right now I'm about 3 months behind due to projects up at the cabin and need to finish my the new HW and XMas decorations for 2018. Loaded ammo goes into ammo cans with desiccant pouches.
