    Handloader magizine

Got mine today, came in a opaque plastic sleeve. Probably to keep the riff raff loonies from destroying it in transit. Or creating envy over the 2 Colt SSAs on the cover.

Yes, I also made that difference in wrappers on that magazine from a clear wrapper to an off white opaque. I told the Frau that there must have been that decision at the publisher to avoid the magazines being mailed by public carriers being defaced or totally destroyed. The `lunatic fringe` is alive and well in our country.Robert

I can see why they have changed the packaging. A Las Vegas NRA and NVFAC member had this NRA package delivered with a note from a postal employee. A complaint has been filed with the postal inspector.

and that's why they work for the government: fringe's can't hold a job in the private sector long before workers complain and want gone!

to bad both private and public workers have to suffer through this, at least with small company's they get sorted out faster!

two issues ago National Geographic started using PAPER for there shipping envelop. much better idea than plastic. don't know why all magazines can't do that. every little bit will help.

I think some of the opaque plastics you are seeing are either recycled plastic and they can't get them clear like from virgin polymers or they are from non-petroleum based plastics, think soybean type plastics.

I like the change, now I don't have to worry about some riff-raff jotting down my address as a good place to burgle.

I just found it interesting that you can't even trust the USPS or some of the so called americans (small "a" on purpose) that work for it to respect others peoples interests.
