This site has them, but more importantly it gives you the name to find them.

Sinker on the bottom with a short leader attached to line with a swivel. A long line passed through the hook slider device. Attach the the long line to fishing line with a swivel and attached to the swivel above the sinker. A hook on a leader attached to swivel on the slide. The hook won't get to the bottom because of bottom swivel, and it won't ride to far up because of the top swivel. Looking for fishing that are off the bottom.

I use those all the time, the other advantage is the fish won't feel the weight of the sinker when it runs with the bait. The line passes through with a swivel then the leader, hang the sinker on the slide with a light line or rubber band, so you just lose the sinker with a snag and not your whole rig.

If you reel the line in too far the plastic goes into the rod eye and gets stuck, a bead put on the line before the slide prevents this, thus the shape of the original one posted.

Last trip to Maui I lost a ton on sinkers with a similar rig. I must have donated 5 lbs to the ocean floor. Caught a 7' sandbar shark, a 4' grey reef shark, and a good size moray eel. It was a good trade off.

Bringing sharks or moray eels onto your boat is like sharing a campfire with sidewinders. To each his own.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

    I was on shore.

The first and only shark I boated and didn't catch and release was a 7' mako. I made sure it was dead before I brought it aboard. Best shark steaks I've ever had. I catch and release them all now. The ones I caught on shore I grabbed by the tail, pulled them in, snapped a couple pics, and released them back into the ocean.

You should try try bringing in a 25 lb snapping turtle in your boat some time.lol
