    FX Crown

I received an email from airgun depot about the fx crown. it is avalibal in 30 cal. I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. I would like to know any pros or cons. I am considering buying one in 30 cal. I have the noe pellet mould and it is doing well in my Quackenbush. It only gets four shots before having to refill. thought I saw somewhere the fx will go 40 shots before refill. and the accuracy is super.

No experience with the crown here but the 40 shots per fill is probably for .177 guns.
The 30 caliber lets a lot more air out each shot.
Hope to read more about it if you buy one.

I wouldn't believe the 40 shoots per fill theory, my Wolverine gets 13 shots before it falls off the group. If a thirty is getting more shots it's prolly because it is throttled back by a regulator but you may not end up with the power or trajectory you desire. I believe that this is why the .25 cal. is gaining in popularity, more speed, more shots and cheaper ammo.
