    Marlin Camp 9

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to report my range session today. I have been working up loads for all my 9mm firearms. Although my pistols shot fine my rifle really took the win today. Load #1 was loaded in my Dillon SDB an awesome press. Load #2 were loaded on a Lyman spartan single stage.

    Load 1:
    Brass: mixed headstand
    Primer: S&B spp
Bullet: Lee 356-125-2R as cast lubed with 45-45-10
    Powder: 3.8 grains Titegroup

    Load 2:
    Brass: mixed headstamp
    Primer: S&B spp
Bullet: Lee 358-105-SWC as cast lubed with 45-45-10
    Powder 6.2 grains unique

The distance from the target was 30 yards. All rounds functioned the action on my marlin camp 9, browning hi power, and my Tokarev 9mm reproduction not one failure was experienced. In all I’m very happy with the results of both loads and how they fired out of my 9 mils especially my camp 9.

Looks like that carbine likes that load ! Good job wish I still had my camp carbine ... does the 9mm throw the brass a country mile like my 45 did ?
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I’m not letting this one go anytime soon it was my first centerfire rifle I bought myself as a youngster. It actually threw the brass a few feet away which was perfect for me as I got most of them back. Wish I had a 45 Carbine

I've been playing with my Camp 9.
    Tried different springs and buffers.
I'm working on a better rear sight for it.
I got a LEE 124 TC 2R mold to try.
    I hope it's not undersized.
I've heard Titegroup was a good powder for this round.
    Never tried it.
Used to have a Camp 45.
Wasn't impressed with it. Sold it.

I just wish there was a metal bottom for it, I would even go for aluminum over the plastic.

I like my 45 allot too.

I chopped off most of the magazine "cover" so I could utilize some 5 round mags that I have for hunting.

Its trimmed even with the trigger guard so kinda looks like a CZ 527...

Still works perfectly for the couple 20rnd mags and all the 7/8 rnders too.
