    What to do with AA4064?

I recently acquired 8 pounds of this powder and cannot find much loading info on it, other than for 325 Winchester Short mag. Does anyone have any info to share? Info for IMR 4064 seems to be everywhere.

Accurate puts out a pamphlet with their powders listed for different calibers. Should be
available t your local gunshop. Or call accurate and ask for their loading data pamphlet.

Funny, I went to the Accurate Website ( http://www.accuratepowder.com/load-data/ ) and...Lo and Behold!...there was icon for Accurate Data Version 6.0 right at the top of the page. Provides extensive load info for almost ALL medium-capacity calibers.

I would work from the IMR 4064 data if I had nothing else.Apparently AA4064 is slightly slower burning than IMR 4064

Don't do that. Many powders share a number and the burn rates and properties are so different that it's actually dangerous to swap load data. A good example of this is VHt110 and H110. Use the actual data and keep all ten fingers and both eyes.

15+ years ago when something similar happened to me the Tech told me to use AA2520 starting data. It was a newer powder then and not a lot of info was out on it. As is IMR 4064 it is great in 308 based cases.
