38-55 mold for Pedersoli High Wall

im working on getting a Pedersoli Highwall in 38-55 and all research suggest i need a .380 dia sized bullet according to Pedersoli and others.RCBS and Lyman state 377-379 drop which will not do.What are my options? is this a custom mold venture or something else. Thanks!

Accurate Mold clone of the Ideal 375166 - MOA out to 300yds and drops Rams at 500 meters. Not satisfied with a 380 base, depending on the alloy to be used - ask Tom to make it bigger. It's my Go To bullet for my HiWalls

Twist rate in the barrel is going to determine what bullets you can shoot also. A friends 38-55 pedersoli did really well with the rcbs 312 grn bullet I believe his barrel was a 14 twist. This bullet did fine on rams out to 500 yds. The lyman 335 grrn may also be a good bullet to try in your rifle. My C SHarps high wall 38-55 has a 1-12 twist McGowen on it an the 335 grn lyman performs well better is a 360 grn Nasa from old west moulds.

One thing to consider is put a want in swapping and selling for different 38-55 bullets. 25-50 bullets will give a good idea of how they perform. Test them then buy your mould accordingly.
