That's a great looking rifle range you have there. And the shooting ain't bad neither.
Would the thin air be the factor, rather than the elevation? I know down here in Louisiana the air is so thick dew point in the mid 70’s you could almost cut it with scissors. Looks like gravity factor, would be same at sea level as 8,000’ but amount of powder would affect trajectory more than elevation?
Ron I cant run your vidio but I do know that shooting 500 yards with my Gibbs rifle the experts say that my bullet rises between 38 and 43 feet above the line of sight depending on temp, humidity [also air density] and the other factors that affect a bullets flight. My load for 500 yards is 87 grains of the current lot of Goex ffg, a 1/8 felt wad and a .oo15 hard fiber wad under a swadged 535 grain bullet wrapped in 9 pound paper. This is between 350 to 500 feet of elevation. While I was in AZ the last two years eye problems kept me from shooting in the 800 900 and 1000 yard matches.

Yes, they should shoot higher if the weather conditions are similar. Basically an air density/humidity thing. Higher density (lower altitude) means more drag.
If you use one of the more detailed ballistics calculators you can run the numbers. FWIW, it also affects bullet stability (less dense air being a 'good' thing).
