any data for 480 ruger with lee 476-325 bullet and imr 800x

I apologize if my post is in the wrong area. i can find no load data for the 480 ruger using imr 800x powder and the lee 476-325 bullet in any book . Is this just a bad combo? 800x works with 45 colt and 44 special, so why is there no info out there? thanks

It might be due to the burn rate which shows 800 X as 35 on the chart. Reloading data shows the fastest powder in the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook as Accurate #9 which is 45 on the chart.

It shows for 44 mag and even .380. I can’t see a trend with that range of choice

OK, so you do not think that the faster burn rated powders might generate their max pressure quicker. If the powder was tested and found to be less suited, the manual will not list it. Not saying it can't be done, but that other powders work better.

I have used 800X in 9MM and that had an impressive fireball in the gun I was testing with at the time. Perhaps a similar experience occurred with the 480 Ruger? For whatever reason, when testing for the Lyman manual it felt the powder was in appropriate for this specific application.
