    Micro-groove

Older Marlin 30-30 with micro-groove barrel.
    Bore slugs at .3085-.3089.
    Lee 309-150 F. Drops at .3095-.3105 with 2-1 lead-ww.
If I go 50/50 plus a little tin you think it will drop any larger?
Tried to beagle it so it could be sized .311, but wouldn't chamber because the nose portion was too big.
    Ideas??

Add 2% tin to your COWW alloy. Try that. If it works add lead in 10% increments until the mix no longer works. That will be the quickest, easiest method to see if that mould will work with your rifle.
