I was shooting some .308 hardball in the M1A, then comparative groups with this Savage, which I posted in Political & News. Then I needed some relaxation, so turned to cast bullets for groups at 100 yds with the same gun. Here’s the range report -
Lyman 311291 175gr RNGC, 22 gr Scot 4197, 5 shots in 1.6”.
Lyman 311332 190gr PTGC, 22 gr. 4197, 5 shots in 2.1”.
Lyman 311299 210gr PTGC, 22 gr 4197, 5 shots in 2.35”, 4 of those in 1.1”.
