    Best Father’s Day I’ve had

I just had the best Father’s Day in my 42 years of life. My 12 year old son and I shot more than 800 rounds of 38, 357, 44 mag, 45 colt and 454 casull through pistol and lever guns. We had a ball. Everything we shot were rounds we loaded together. Everything but the 44 and 454 were cast by us. We have a range here at the house, and I asked my wife why we don’t do this more often, she loved to see us having fun. We shot steel, milk jugs, paper and pine cones. Just thought I’d share.

What a great way to spend your Father's Day-Shooting with your son. I am sure that you & your 12 year old son will never forget it. Sounds like you had a good variety of things to shoot and things to shoot at. As you said, why not do it more often? Thanks for sharing.

During Fathers Day lunch, I made plans to take two of my Grand Daughters to shoot the rifles I bought them shortly after their birth.
After gathering all the equipment and the girls, we drove to the only local range.
Excitement ruled the day and we were soon signed in. Both girls listened intently as directions were given, and both girls did themselves proud.
I have added 2 more to the ranks of shooting enthusiast.
Both have ask me to go back soon, and to take a big boy gun. I wondered who I built those ARs for???
    Information not shared. is wasted.
