    You might be a redneck...

If you have antique tools as wall art...

I found an old axe that my grandpa had owned and used in the Idaho woods for decades. The handle was broken so I replaced it with a nice hickory one. The head is a Kelly Works model called The Red Warrior.

I have a bunch of axes so I didn't need another, but this one was special, so I hung it on my wall.

You might be a redneck if . . . you usually find a couple broke down cars up on blocks when you mow the front yard!

I think the axe is cool
And not only symbolism of time gone by but also a nod to your father.

    I'm good with that.

There was a trailer park on my mail route. Truck in front yard by the porch. They moved, took truck. Dead deer laying on the ground.

How about a 8 ft cross cut saw on the wall and an old buck saw under it. Pieces of history that need to be remebered

If your wife ever told you to clean up your WW or brass head stamp sorting operation in the living room on account of company is coming over and it ain't family.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

That doesn't count; both cars still have their hoods (and presumably engines), and there isn't a tree growing up through the engine bay.

If anyone enters your home and is offended or thinks the axe is "inappropriate," kick them out IMMEDIATELY! And never let them in again. Life's too short to waste on folks like that!

Dad didn't leave much after he passed. Not that I was looking for anything from him. Anyway, did get some hand tools and a wooden bodied short plane. Edge on the blade was badly chipped. Took the better part of a couple hours with a plane blade guide to get it in nice shape. Will now cut shavings you can almost see through. Will treasure that plane until they shovel the dirt over me. I remember the Foxworthy series. He had a lot of really pointed captions. A local store started selling T-shirts with his quotes on them. I spied one that said "You might be a redneck if you have more dishes in the sink than in the cabinets." Showed it to SWMBO and she gave me "THE LOOK." I hope somebody got that shirt, 'cause I didn't.
