    My lead score

I have been casting for a few years now.
Started with range scrap mined from my clubs pistol range.
My first lead score was last year, about 80lbs of pure from a plumber, friend of a friend.
This year a friend at our club said he had some lead for me.
I finally met up with him a few weeks ago to pick up the lead. he had asked if I could give his grandson a discount on his concealed carry class in trade.
After I got it all home and sorted-
Pure- 60-80lbs(one 20lb brick that I feel is pure, scratches easily just sounds a little different when dropped, I think just because it is larger than I am used to).
    Alloy, guessing wheel weight- 100lbs
Solder- 30lbs, mostly melted into 1lb ingots, probably from the telco.

Guess what, grandson just got himself a free class.
I will probably pick up a 38 wadcutter mold too, I know jimbo likes to shoot those.

The wife just looked at me funny as I sat on the back of the van, dropping ingots onto the ground to ‘sound’ sort them after initial guess.
Giggling the whole time, especially as the solder bucket kept growing.
This is a strange disease, that’s for sure.

I guess you could say that. You've done well.

Nothing quite like the pile of nice shiny ingots after a smelting session...
