    Score!!

Gotta share, the wife rolls her eyes and the dog is happy to celebrate anything... hows this score for $25, pounced on the local ad minutes after it was posted. I was apparently first in a long list of folks who replied. He got the boxes as part of a larger trade a couple of years ago and doesn’t reload. He knew it was worth more but just wanted to get it out of the garage and in the hands of someone who could use it instead if tossing it in the landfill. I’m still weeding thru to figure out what all is there.

Just a couple of those Lil Dandy Rotors are worth what you payed. If you have a #12, I'd be interested.

Are those Lyman 310 or Tru Line Jr. dies on the left of the picture?

Thanks All, In the back is a Lyman 45 Lube/Sizer, a MEC 600 Jr and the All American press. I believe all the small dies are Lyman 310 dies, not sure what is what. Most all of it needs to go thru some sort of cleaning process as the 2 boxes were not stored well.

Some things like the Lyman 358429 single mould may be an unfortunate loss. Ill be posting elsewhere to see if there is any possibility of saving it.

This weekend I hope to spend some quality time sorting it all out and figure out what I will keep and what will move on. Yep the rotors will definitely pay for the box, I have a reloading partner that has a Little Dandy that will likely claim most of them.

    Nice Score.
When I try to salvage molds and dies, I have 3 levels of strategy depending on the amount of abuse they have had.

    1. A good scrubbing with hot soapy water and a tooth brush. Dawn works well for this.
    2. A good scrubbing with Kroil and a tooth brush.
    3. A soak in EvapoRust.

Some time along the way I'll use odd things like heavy duty tooth picks, like Corndogs come on, and Bambo Skewers. Dental picks work well too if you're careful.

Fortune favors the bold, but just getting lucky once in a while doesn't hurt. Nice score indeed.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

Nice score lets keep in mind anything that goes up for sale needs to be in the SS section to avoid any problems.
