    Luger Magazine? Forum Benefit Auction.

Found what looks like an old rusty 9mm Luger Magazine in the bottom of a scrap bin. Not sure of the value, but it would look pretty cool in a collection. All I want is enough to cover shipping at my end, all the proceeds will be donated to this forum. Auction ends next Sunday at noon central time.

Can I get an opening bid of $7?

$12.00 - can you make out the serial if there is one? It would be too cool if it matched one of my Lugers.....

Where would it be located? I see a number scratched on the side shown in the second photo.

Additional photos. If there is/was a number in the wood I can’t make it out.

    Luger Magazine? Forum Benefit Auction.

Happy 4th to everyone! Remember all proceeds get donated to this forum.

For my own education can anybody tell me about this magazine, I have never seen one with a wooden base plate before.

If I remember right, and I may be wrong. The wood bottom magazines were from WW1 and the Bakelite ones were from WW2.
This being due to the increase of skill I manufacturing of plastic forming.
I had in my safe for a while a WW1 naval Luger with a plastic based mag. That’s what I figured out for the guy that owned it.
