I have an 8 lb cannister but have not cracked it open. Still finishing off the open Bullseye.

It's supposed to be the same as Bullseye.. we've sold a couple of # at my club but no reports on it yet that I know of.. Been meaning to do some workups but have other irons in the fire first..

There is a ton of data for that powder/cartridge combination available on the Hodgdon data site. Loads listed with nearly every boolit/bullet weight imaginable.
It appears to produce very good velocity numbers with the 45ACP.
I personally have no experience with that powder.

Watch your powder drops. In my Hornady lock n load progressive press it is the only powder other than Trail Boss that will get jammed up in the powder drop and throw short charges. It does this regularly. Maybe 1 out of 20 charges will be short 50% or more.

Other than that it works just fine. I bought a 1 lbs bottle for something like $17 at Scheels on sale. I won't be buying anymore unless it's the only thing available.

I have never seen the powder. What is it's shape? Is it a flake powder or spherical?
