The solution for running a colony of rats off from a farm is to release a White Rat.

The others leave immediately. Then you shoot the White Rat as he is easy to see.

The solution is the barrel trap with ramp up, spinning can on dowel or pipe baited with peanut butter. As they start to collect a while, they get hungry. When you get down to only one, release it. He’s going to do all the hunting for you. You’ve created a cannibal rat !!!

I love to shoot Ground squirrels out of my second floor bedroom window. I asked all the neighbors and they all said go for it. I have thined them out and it takes a bit to see one any more. Need to let them repopulate. LOL. I do use an airgun. I have a springer and a gas cartridge.

One BIG suggestion.... USE COPPER PLATED PELLETS... Chickens EAT nearly everything... LEAD KILLS in many ways.
