    RCBS M1000 beam scale reviews

Hey folks, I am considering a beam scale as I am still getting into reloading and this looks like the top offering from RCBS. About $85 with free shipping from Brownells right now. Anybody have one currently in use? I would appreciate the feedback - Thanks!

Midway wants 129.99 for it right now so that is a good price.User reviews were good. For a new scale you probably won't do better.

It looks like a very nice scale. I think you'll be happy with it. My RCBS 10-10 is serving well after many years, or I'd get one from Brownells myself. They have a unusually low price.

I've had one for more than a year and it's very good.

I have checked the accuracy against check weights and my A&D FX-300i laboratory balance.

It settles quickly and is right on.

For that price, it's a bargain.

Wow! If the RCBS is accurate when cross checked with your A&D laboratory balance, then it must be good. Thanks!

When Ohaus stopped producing their USA made 5-0-5 and 10-10 scales, I kind of wondered how RCBS' scales from a new Chinese supplier would be. Good to hear that they are a functional balance. I know we'd all prefer a Made in USA label.

I am grateful to have the classic 10-10 and 5-0-5 scales on my bench.

I have one and like it. It's just as accurate as my 10-10 and (to me) it's easier to use. Why did I buy one when I had a 10-10? Reloading is more a disease than a hobby. Actually I needed an accurate scale in two different places and I got tired of moving it.

I went ahead and placed the order from Brownells last night. At $85.99 and free shipping with their promo code, I could not pass it up. Many thanks for the feedback that made the difference for me.
