Here is the data for your consideration. The arsenal molds we use treat the alloy as a core for the PC jacket. Which means that the molds are underspecified so that when we have to size the bore rider section it is not labor intensive. A bore rider in an auto loader requires care because of potential to jam the bullet into the case if the coating is too thick or not sized.

Its hard to measure, but my numbers are based off the pic I posed in the opening comments. It shows .271, Behind a .498 section of taperd nose.

    I understand what you wrote

I have been able to load as intended and fire with some accuracy frommone of my 300 bbls. I have not yet had a chamnce to try anyone the others yet.

I use that 309-230-5R Lee mold for my 300BO. I powder coat with success. This bullet does not stabilize from my AR pistol barrel at 900 fps, bullets will hit flat sometimes. Upping the speed to around 1100 fps it does pretty good. I've not done any true accuracy testing, but for sure it's plinking accuracy.
