    Lee 401-175-TC

I'm looking to get a mold for my Ruger SR40. Is anyone using this 2 or 6 cavity from Lee? I plan to powder coat and run these around 950fps. Up till now all I have used in my semi autos are J Boolits.

This was one of my first molds and the best 2 cavity Lee mold I have. They drop perfect everytime and feed well in a Ruger pc40...

I use this boolit for my SR40. I use an M Die to open the case. HP-38 for powder.

I have been using this bullet with Blue Dot in a Delta Elite and a 1076. Works very well.

I have been using that boolit in a couple of different 40S&W pistols with good results.

I use this bullet in my LT P2000. I have also used it in .40 cal pistol and 10MM pistol. You won't be disapointed.

+1 ECM45. I have the 6 cavity mold and it works great. Using lube have not had any problems shooting in a standard Glock barrel. Shot more 40 than 10mm but works in a S&W1066. With a 6 cav you will empty a pot pretty fast.

I use it in my Kahr and S&W's PC'd and pushed as fast as I can. This boolit is accurate and easy to load with.

It is a GREAT overall bullet profile. I have a 2 cavity, and loathe that mold. I've been looking for a different maker for a similar profile, probably will have Veral cut one for me, or would snatch up a 4 cav Lyman of similar profile if a deal presented itself.

    Good morning

I have ran this bullet quite a bit and it runs very nice in most every gun I have tried it in.

    Have a good day!

I have them both 2/6 cavity and they work well with powder coat in multiple 40's

I also bought a 2 cavity to try it out and ended up buying a six cavity soon after. I too powder coat them. Nice loads.

Got the mold and the first batch is done. Only problem I had is the sprue plate screw came loose a couple times. I use 2 cycle oil to lube the screw and alignment pins on all my molds. I smoked the cavities and boolits drop right out. Very hot and humid here today so my powder coating not working real well.

I must be different. I use them in my 38-40 WCF. with a Lee factory crimp. Along with the 40S&W and 10mm. I bought 2-6 cavity, had visions of shooting alot of 40 S&W then read about polygon rifling an lead. Only 1 has been used. I also have a Lyman 4 cavity both work fine.

Getting better with every bake. I stopped shake n bake and started to tumble using my tumbler with corn cob media. I'm using a plastic container from a store bought frozen smootie with AirSoft BBs and smokes powder. I lay the sealed container in the media. 10mins and they are ready for the oven. I can do 75 at a time.

This was my last batch. I think these are as good as I can get them.

If you’re only planning to shoot them at 40 S&W velocity, and assuming you’re not powder or hi-tek coating, you might consider the TL version instead. It shoot fine and you can lube in batches.

I've had a pair of 2cav for about 15yrs. Lube with ???forgot who's mold prep????? smoked to start, haven't done it since. Use it in GLOCK 23 & 35 with WOLF bbls, a RUGER SR40 and a COLT SAA 1st gen .38-40 with LEE crimp die. Size .401, lube with White Label BAC.

I've loaded this boolit over 4.5 grains of Bullseye with pretty good results in my S&W 4006.
