i've always cast all my bullets 'n' balls, for handguns, centerfire and muzzleloader rifles, and even smoothbore flintlocks, but after sampling a few different brand hi-tec handgun bullets for both .45acp and .357mag, they are simply better than lubed or softer coated bullets, no barrel leading, just about as cheap, and no work needed on my part. now i've been enlightened - what took me so long? dang.

It is a beautiful thing..I have never lubed a bullet. When I first got into casting, I went straight to PC, have never looked back.

Even had bought a new RCBS Lubrasizer, it never got used. sold it a few years later..

the only lubing i do these dayze is for muzzleloader patch strips. the BPCR guns use ppb's - paper patched bullets. life is good.

Next step is to coat your own, rfd. I even did a few round balls for my cap and ball revolver, didn't do anything performance-wise, of course, but they sure looked pretty!

all acme hi-tecs come in a heavy plastic bag that's inside a laser cut wooden box - no extra charge. nice touch and a great way to insure the bullets are secure. they have my business, for sure.

I like acme. I use them for my .380 bullets. I'm not going to cast them little rascals. I'll stick to the bigger ones.
