Kroger Buttermilk mix, just add water. I always chop up fruit, and add to the batter. Apples are always great, but raspberries, blueberries, and mango are favorites. I have to use real maple syrup, and lots of butter. Bacon on the side.

Pancakes are just another form of flatbread. Hence one can make it in a multitude of ways. One of the easiest is to use a "Bisquik" type mix to save some prep time and mix it with others like buckwheat, corn meal mix, oatmeal (not quick or instant) etc to give it the texture and flavor you prefer or to just have some variety in your meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner). Try using 'cooking rings', the kind for eggs or make your own from open top cookie or biscuit cutters. A hot cooking surface (skillet or griddle) is a key to making great cakes. Homemade mix or store bought and the cooks skill is what makes a great cake.

I cook breakfast for the Boy Scouts on the 4th of July. Last year I used Great Value add water mix and they turned out great, but anything cooked outdoors with bacon grease turns out good.
I usually use Hungry Jack complete mix, and top with buttermilk syrup.

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

I make them from scratch. Cook them every other weekend. With bacon of course.

'SUNDAY MORNING 9 GRAIN PANCAKE MIX is my daughter's home based business in Nashville. It is delicious and very popular. I like to add a little bisquick and use buttermilk. I love potato pancakes too. Want Waksupi's corn cake recipe to try!

SWMBO mostly uses Greek Yogurt, Milk and Duck Eggs mixed into Krusteaz, makes Great pancakes or waffles. Fruit flavored Greek
Yogurt is really good when you top the pancakes or waffles with fresh fruit, she sometimes adds Honey & Cinnamon when using Honey Yogurt

For a while, she was making me a Belgium Waffle every Friday morning from a box mix. Yum, yum! Seems she "broke" the waffle iron, so no more waffles for me. For the life of me, I haven't figured out why she hasn't bought another one.

A coworker once told me, if you want pancakes to rise and taste great open a can of beer the night before and use that instead of milk for the mix. My wife, being a teetotaler would never try it. Myself, I can't cook. I burn the Jell-O every time.

Was told once, that for fluffy scrambled eggs or omelets, substitute pancake batter for all or some of your milk or cream.

Aunt Jemima complete, but I still add a bit of milk and two eggs... I gotta be careful with milk since my last cancer surgery, but I've found that I can drink the Lactaid brand without the problems. I found some lactose free ice cream after suffering through a night of misery from enjoying a cone at Brewster's
