    Problem Solved, Accuracy is Back!

If you read my post about loss of accuracy in my 45 caliber under hammer, today I got it solved. It appears I did not write and later read the dope from my dope book and was using 80 grains of FFG. The was too small a load and closer examination of my notes I might have written 90 grains. So I tried 90 grains today and at 100 yards......my 10 shots were in 2x 5 shot groups exactly where I aimed. At the end after the barrel got warm I tried a couple of 80 grain loads and the bullets hit right at the bottom of the backer! I am not sure why the load has to be so high for this rifle compared to my other slug guns but.......

Live and learn.. Glad you're back on target..Some guns need a bit more oomph to get the pill there. Nature of the beast.
